Recode’s chief technology officer John Devereaux is one of the world’s top tech executives.
He was named by Forbes magazine as one of America’s 50 most powerful people in 2017, and he’s been in charge of developing the company’s tech products since its inception.
His recent role as the CEO of Men’s Wearhouse, which produces men’s underwear, has garnered him praise from many in tech.
His company, which is valued at $1.4 billion, has seen strong sales and strong returns.
In an interview with Recode, Devereux shared some of his experiences working with Men’swearhouse.

Men’s wear is about innovation, not just about clothes.
The thing that sets Men’swarehouse apart from the competition is the fact that they are innovating.
I think that’s a pretty important aspect of the brand.
So I think Men’sWearhouse is going to be a winner.
I also believe that innovation, like everything else, has to come from the top.
The best way to do that is to be in the right place at the right time, and that’s what I’ve done with Menswearhouse, and I think they’re going to continue to be winners in the future.

Recode: Why is innovation so important in Men’s Warehouse’s business model?
I think there are two big things going on with innovation.
One is that we’re trying to make it easy for our customers to access great ideas.
It’s very important that we have the right technology and the right people to do the right things.
Second, I think there’s a new breed of innovators that want to be able to create their own solutions that can scale.
MenSwearhouse is one such company.
It is an innovation-driven company.
MensWarehouse is building the next generation of men’s wear, one that is truly innovative.
It really does offer a completely new way of doing business.
It is very important for us to be innovating in order to be successful.
We have to be creating things that are a little bit different from the way the world is today.
That’s why we focus on a whole new way.
We focus on innovation, and we want to make sure that our customers have that same opportunity to create things that have the power to change the way they shop.
How do you think that fits into the Men’s business?
The way the Mens business is evolving is really exciting.
In a way, it’s like a reverse-engineering of the shoe business.
The shoe business is very much in the old business model.
It was designed to be as small as possible, to do as little work as possible.
It used to be about making the shoes.
Now it’s about being able to offer the best fit, the most comfortable fit, and the best value for money.
And it’s an evolution.
It takes us to a new business model where we have to innovate a little more in order for it to be truly competitive.
I’m very excited to see where this company is going.
We want to build a brand that’s going to bring innovation to people.
It needs to be something that has the ability to change things.
That is the innovation part.
The technology part is the other part.
We really believe in the innovation.
We are the ones who are making the innovation happen.
We want to see what kind of impact that can have.
What is the difference between being innovative and having a great product?
It’s hard to answer that question because you’re trying different things, and you can’t answer it in a way that you can be really sure.
So you have to take that risk.
We think we have a great chance to build something that will be a game changer for people who want to try different things.
Is there any specific technology that you guys use?
It sounds like you’re working with a lot of different hardware platforms, but there’s no shortage of the guys that you’ve worked with.
I was wondering how you stack up against the rest of the companies.
Devereaux: We work with a bunch of different platforms.
I don’t know if that’s true or not.
We work on the latest, greatest, and most powerful hardware.
I can’t really comment on specific products.
We’re always looking at how we can make our products better, how we make them more attractive, how they make them work.
I would love to be on the cutting edge of technology.
It just depends on what we’re building, the level of innovation that we want.
I would say it’s a combination of technology, design, and engineering.
