If you want to see how men’s rights activists reacted to the men’s game becoming more feminist, you can watch the film Men In Black, the latest in a series of men’s-focused documentaries from filmmakers and writers such as Michael Kimmel, John Kelly, and Robert Luskin.
The film, which is based on the book Men In White, is a celebration of the “man’s work” that men and boys have contributed to society, and it’s about the “reproductive rights” of men and their roles in society.
Men In Black’s director, Mark Johnson, told Polygon that the film is about “the male power structure” and “the ways that men have been able to shape and shape society through their masculinity.”
“Men’s work is something that women have been fighting for for generations, and we’re seeing that take shape,” he said.
“It’s been a long time since a film about masculinity was made, and this is a film that really takes us into that time.”
In Men In Blue, the documentary takes a look at the “feminist movement,” specifically the Women’s March, which drew more than 30 million people to the US in the weeks leading up to the Women`s March on Washington.
The documentary examines the ways in which women have become “a social outcast” and that the “bodies of men have become feminized, they`ve become feminised as well,” Johnson said.
As part of the film, Johnson also interviewed prominent men like comedian Lenny Bruce and former NBA player Kobe Bryant, who told Johnson they are “fascinated by the idea that men are the creators of the world,” as well as how the “diseases of masculinity” are being “brought on” by a lack of men in leadership roles.
“Men in Black” is a fitting title for the documentary, since the film looks at men’s role in society from a feminist perspective.
Johnson said the film was inspired by “a lot of men, who are really angry about it, and they’re angry that the [men’s] body politic is being feminized,” and that “it’s the masculine body politic that’s feminized.”
“I think that when you look at men as creators, it’s not a case of they have to create this stuff, they can make it themselves,” he continued.
“I think men have the power, and if they choose to be more feminist and be more involved in the world, they are able to make a difference in the lives of men.”
Men can’t be masculine without making this mess out of it.”
