A vigil was held in Virginia for Michael Jackson’s daughter and her husband who were fatally shot in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Michael Jackson’s daughters were shot in Virginia over the weekend, as they sat in a car in a parking lot with a gun.
The couple, whose names were not released, were visiting family in nearby Fredericksburg, Virginia, and were driving along the interstate when they were pulled over by a Virginia State Police trooper.
They were shot multiple times, according to the police report.
The couple’s daughters, Kailyn, 17, and Laquan, 18, were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Kailynn died of her wounds.
They were later pronounced dead.
The police report says Laquon was in the passenger seat when he fired the fatal shots.
Kailynd was sitting in the front seat.
Michael’s brother, Tyree, and his mother, Donna Jackson, were also in the car.
Donna Jackson is said to be “deeply saddened and grieving for the loss of her daughter and husband.”
The Virginia State Patrol says a gun was recovered at the scene, but it was not immediately known if the two suspects are in custody.
